Experience In Listening
Paul Caron loves people and they appreciate him in return.  For Paul, the only way to be successful is in listening. “ Fifty years ago, my father would say that you had to listen to your customers explain their needs since no one person is the same.  That is why I also try to understand and respect my clients’ needs” he says.

There are many different insurance products and their purposes vary. To offer the best quality, you need to know the products and if someone knows them, its Paul Caron.  But a good broker’s job doesn’t stop here…

Compassion A Priority
Le Groupe Caron et Ménard stands out thanks to the  highly qualified personnel and the fact that there is almost no employee turnover.  “This stability is key in establishing long lasting relationships with our customers” insists Paul Caron.  The whole team works with the same principle of listening to the customers, by asking questions and weighing the pros and cons which is essential in choosing the adequate product for their needs. The genuine interest and care from our employees is appreciated by our customers.  The clients already dealing with us have grown to expect our quality  as well as our efficiency in dealing with their claims and understanding their need for support.  Mrs. Lafrenière & Mr. Castonguay, owners of Garage Richard Castonguay located on St-Charles avenue in Vaudreuil-Dorion state the following: “When we call Le Groupe Caron & Ménard, it’s as if the problem were already solved! Two Employees From The Beginning
If the customers are happy, a lot depends on the employees.  Lise Sabourin, today, an associate broker, started her career in 1974 as Andre Caron’s secretary.  “What was always so amazing was Mr Caron’s understanding when it came to employee matters.  He showed  compassion  towards his employees as well as his clients.  As his father before him, Paul Caron is also an understanding employer.  He is an excellent boss, acting with integrity and honesty.  I could never have worked so long for the same employer had these qualities not been present.”   states Mrs. Sabourin.

Céline Malboeuf  who worked for the firm during 27 years, retired in 2002.  She recalls how André Caron would worry about his employees.  “ M. Caron would always inquire about our families, our children.  He would always care about how his employees were doing.  His employees were important to him and he would tell us regularly.  He would repeat how essential we (the employees)  were to the business.   Later on and until 2002, I had the pleasure to be his son Paul’s assistant .  He , too, always treated his personnel equally and with respect.  I was always well supported and highly encouraged by Paul.  And I never once heard him raise his voice !  We were like a family …”  remembers Mrs. Malboeuf.

The Groupe Caron et Ménard employees understand that the business’ success largely depends on them.  Paul Caron and Benoit Ménard both respect their employees and, on a daily basis encourage them in their endeavours to develop new business as well as pursue continuous studies.  “It’s the knowledge and quality of our employees that allow us to become better and be recognised as such on the market.  We greatly appreciate their unwavering support throughout the years”.


Good Negotiations
To ensure that the customers have the best coverage possible, Groupe Caron et Ménard  constantly negotiates the best possible conditions with their insurers .  Among these partners, La Fédération, La Missisquoi, Axa Assurances and L’Union Canadienne.

Since 1994, Paul Caron concentrates on the developing and servicing of the clientele.  His associate, Benoit Ménard is the expert in negotiating with their business partners.  “Our  negotiations allow us to establish special insurance programs and be most competitive.  This is essential for our company.  As we choose our clients carefully, our partners trust our work ethic and , in return, they recognize our efforts by allowing us to benefit from better rates which in turn represent savings for our customers”  replies Benoit Ménard.

 

As Paul Caron reminds us, the most important thing is to listen to our customers.  This way of thinking, as taught by his father in 1954, has allowed the firm to become outstanding in its class, respected by our clients as well as the insurance companies with whom we work.  We face the future with the same vision, keeping in mind to continue giving a personalized and individual service to both personal and business clients alike.
